The 2K series is known for reinventing sporting games especially with NBA titles. The My Career mode gives your character the story of making it to the league including making decisions on leaving high school and going to the league, paying people not to reveal embarrassing photos of you, etc. Pretty much everything real players go through.  The graphics make it feel as if you are watching the game on television, minus the button controls.

reate your own levels to play and share with the Wiiverse community, and also play levels that other fans have uploaded. Caution, if you have a temper, stick to playing your own levels.

WWE 2K16  Release date: October 27th

Another successful title from the 2k franchise takes us into the world of World Wrestling Entertainment. My Career mode allows gamers to create their own character and journey through developmental training in NXT to become champion in the main roster. This game is said to have the biggest roster as more superstars from past and present wrestling organizations (NXT, WCW, and ECW) will make the game a continuous delight. This year’s title follows the story of Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Halo 5  Release date: October 27th

Halo is Xbox’s Call of Duty as this game is looking at the master chief and how he died. In this game he is joined by fellow schoolmates on the blue team as a new force threatens the galaxy and the master chief goes missing. This four player shooter is one of the most dramatic in the series.

Call of Duty Black Ops III  Release date: November 6th

C.O.D Black Ops is another iconic

first person shooter alongside its counter parts modern and advanced warfare. Besides the multiplayer mode, the one thing that fans are looking forward to are zombies. Zombie mode has become the must have extra in CODBO and is expected to have more surprises for fans upon its release. The bad news for owners of the older consoles (PS3 and Xbox 360) they won’t be able to play campaign mode, but only multiplayer as the systems can’t handle all the content in the game, which is a sign for gamers to splurge on the PS4 (that has the COD design on its release date).

These games will also make great gift ideas as the holidays are rapidly approaching. For those who are still waiting for the console prices to become lower, this maybe one of those times to stop being cheap and stop using your friends system and go get your own.
