Celebrate Black History Month with Community Events at Triton College


Community members are invited to attend a series of events on Triton College’s campus during Black History Month that will pay tribute to the accomplishments of African Americans. The theme of Black History Month 2017 at Triton College is ‘Traditions of Excellence in the African American Community.’

All events are open to the community.

Milestones of African-American Athletes 
Monday, Feb. 13, 11 a.m., Triton College Library (A Building) – FREE


Join Triton College sociology faculty member Victor McCullum for a discussion on the role sports plays in social activism. Enjoy a Soul Food Meal in Café 64
Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 21-22 


Hospitality students present an opportunity for guests to relish in soul food cuisine. Cernan Earth and Space Center Presents Michael Jackson Laser Light Show Saturdays & Sundays throughout Feb.
