April is Sustainability Month Triton College’s Sustainability Center celebrates Sustainability Month with a variety of activities for the Triton community to engage and learn about their impact on the environment.
April 5 Sustainable Thursdays, 7 to 9 p.m., Room B-204/210, on the second floor of the Student Center (B-Building) Learn how to start a community garden with Openlands community garden expert Julie Samuels.
April 11 College Council presents “Green Fling” Triton’s efforts to go green have taken flight. Learn about new sustainable initiatives and practices at College Council’s Green Fling from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., in Room B-204/B-210. Enjoy fun and informative activities including a session on College Council and a quiz for prizes. Refreshments will be served.
